I’m still learning so my method changes over time.

It’s easiest for me to work from photos but I find painting from life results in more natural, pleasing colours and contrasts.

I use a 5 colour limited palette of oil paints, (brown, blue, yellow, red, white).

After it’s dried for a few months I like to varnish it.

I’m still trying to decide if I like canvas or wood better.
